About Us
Resurrection Community Church (RCC) has been an anchor in the Albemarle community since 1997, dedicated to serving the whole person—body, soul, and spirit. We are a church for all people, rooted in love, service, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
We strive daily to live out our motto: “A Church Called to Make a Difference.” Whether through worship, outreach, or discipleship, RCC is committed to bringing hope, healing, and help to everyone we encounter.
A Legacy of Service
For nearly 25 years, RCC has faithfully fed and clothed thousands of individuals and families throughout Albemarle and surrounding areas. Our ministries are designed to meet real needs and reflect the love of Christ in practical, life-changing ways.
Our Story
Founded in 1997 by Pastor William (Bill) Baldwin, Resurrection Community Church began as a vision for a community-centered, spirit-led church. In 2000, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Baldwin ordained Michael Stovall as Pastor of RCC. Since then, Pastor Stovall has continued to lead with compassion, wisdom, and a commitment to growth in Christ.
Celebrating 25 Years
The year 2025 marks a significant milestone—25 years of ministry, service, and transformation. As we look to the future, we remain focused on our calling: to uplift our community and share the message of resurrection power through Jesus Christ.
At Resurrection Community Church, there’s a place for you. We welcome you to grow with us, serve with us, and experience the difference a Christ-centered community can make in your life.
